🍜Shiraishi Warm Noodles🍜
For this bowl of noodles! I can come to Shiraishi Japan all the time…
It’s a noodle shop recommended by a friend. It’s quite famous but I’ve never tried it. When I traveled to Miyagi during the Spring Festival, I made a special trip to the white food to try it. It was really good! !
What excites me even more is: now you can also eat real Shiraishi Warm Noodles in Taiwan!
In addition to delicious food, there is also a touching story:
It is said that 400 years ago, there was a man named Suzuki Aimon in the local Shiroishi City. Aimon's father suffered from stomach problems. He was bedridden all year round and could not eat for days on end. Aimon went around looking for medical advice.
A passing monk taught him a secret method of making noodles without oil, using only wheat flour and salt water. After eating this secret recipe, his father's stomach problems were gradually cured. The then lord of Shiroishi Castle, Lord Katakura, was very moved when he learned about this act of filial piety, and named this type of noodles "warm noodles" that warm people's hearts.
Onn noodles have a 400-year history and are a specialty of Shiroishi City. Its production process has been passed down through hundreds of years of hand-making techniques. Compared with traditional somen noodles, Shiraishi warm noodles are significantly shorter, only about 9 centimeters in length, which is much shorter than other traditional noodles, which makes the noodles easier to chew and digest.
➼ The noodles are characterized by being only 9 cm long, easy to cook even in a small pot, and popular for being easy to eat (not sticky).
Shiraishi warm noodles taste particularly soft, gentle and slender, and are absorbed into the stomach immediately. Compared with traditional noodles or plain noodles, they are less chewy but more refreshing.
➼ The cooking method of Shiraishi warm noodles is the same as that of ordinary noodles. Boil it in hot water for 3 minutes, then pour cold water to speed up cooling, and finally serve it.
You can choose hot or cold Shiraishi warm noodles. The steamer cold noodles are the most popular way to eat them, and you can enjoy the purest taste of the noodles. In the hot summer, you can still have a bowl even if you have no appetite.
➼ The preparation of warm noodles is as easy as instant noodles. Whether it is a regular staple food, dinner or late-night snack, it is a good choice. It is not only nutritious, refreshing and delicious, but also low in calories and fat. Beautiful sisters can rest assured to have fat-burning warm noodles and see them every day.
