Tradition and innovation since its founding
The latest brewing technology created by Sendai Duran
"Morimo Sono Honke" was founded in 1849, four years before the black ship incident in the Jiang period. At that time, the first founder, Uzuru, had already brewed the traditional sweet wine of the southern region before starting his business, and while selling it in towns, he settled in Aramachi, a town where clear water gushes out. Since then, 173 years have passed. In addition to "Morino Kikukawa", which has been protecting us since our founding, we have also launched a new brand "Morino" that represents the new era.
The name "Morino Kikukawa" was named after the beautiful chrysanthemums in Eganji Temple and the clear Hirose River in Ara Town by the first generation Tazo, and it was inherited by the brewery successors of Nanbu Tatsumi who have skilled skills. To this day, we still inject deep emotions into every bottle, every glass, and every sip of wine.
As a new brand, "Morimatsu" is a firm commitment to the tradition of Morimatsu winemaking and the first large-scale innovative challenge to the 173-year-old wine cellar. As the only wine cellar inherited from the founding place, the huge expectations carried by "Sendai Durumi" served as the backing for the decision.
Brewing in a new wine cellar that is not affected by outside temperature has become an important advantage for us, and this advantage is also perfectly reflected in the taste of the wine. This is not only a continuation of the history we established, but also a way to present our confident work "Morimo" to customers who are looking forward to it. From "Junmai Daiginjo" made with mountain nishiki to "Mozhu" with a sweet and fruity aroma that goes well with meat, be sure to try "Morimita", newly brewed with Sendai Durian.
